- 10. Youth and the SDGs The world is home to the largest group of 10 to 24-year-olds in history: 1.8 billion and 90% of them live in developing countries. Young people aged 15–24 are three times more likely than older segments of the population to be unemployed. Some 75 million youth aged 15– 24 are currently unemployed. More than 600 million jobs must be generated by 2030.
