The document outlines the application enumeration and launch processes when using a Citrix environment. The application enumeration process involves a user authenticating through a web interface, which uses their credentials and SIDs to retrieve a list of available applications from the local host cache. The selected application data is then passed back to the interface. The application launch process determines the least loaded server that has the selected application installed, obtains its IP address, and uses an ICA file to launch the application session on that server for the user.

Developers need to integrate the multiple SaaS systems that businesses use to operate across disparate clouds. The most important aspects of integration are accurately mapping business data between systems and ensuring reliability, availability and consistency. Developers also need to allow decentralized access to integrated SaaS solutions. An integration platform can abstract integration concerns and manage them, while an API-led approach builds reusable APIs that represent systems and processes without disrupting business. A good connectivity platform provides templates and connectors to make integrations easy and fast.

The State of Log Management & Analytics for AWSTrevor Parsons
The Log Management industry was traditionally driven by regulatory compliance and security concerns resulting in a multi-billion dollar market focused on security and information event management (SIEM) solutions. However, log management has evolved into a market that is focused on both the management and analytics of log data. Log management technologies are becoming more powerful and dynamic, allowing for data to be easily extracted and analyzed from logs for a much wider range of use cases. For example, unstructured events can be parsed in real-time for important field values, which can be subsequently analyzed and rolled up into metrics dashboards.
As a result, today’s log management technologies can take millions of unstructured events per second, analyze them in real-time and extract key insights for:
• Debugging during development
• System monitoring for IT operations
• Answering questions from support queries
• Product Usage Analytics
• Web and Mobile Analytics
• Business Analytics
Historically, one of the challenges of Log Management and Analytics solutions has been the requirement for end users to have deep technical skills in order to be able to extract such insights. Most solutions have focused on providing users with a powerful, yet complex, query language that can be applied to extract insights from log data. Thus, these solutions have been limited to usage by large enterprise organizations with specialist data analysts and the budget and resources required to up-skill on these technologies.
But the Log Management and Analytics industry is changing and customers today are requiring a better approach to using log management technology; one that is focused on ease of use and quick time to value. Removing the requirement for experts to operate Log Management and Analytics solutions is imperative, and will allow for the extraction of insights from log data to be accessible by a much wider range of organizations of any size. Furthermore, this will be particularly important for users of the cloud i.e. those running systems on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS) components, since log data is a key resource for better understanding of these systems.
This paper will outline why Log Management and Analytics is an important technology for cloud computing. It will also do a deep dive on logging on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in particular, outlining the different sources of log and machine generated data from the available AWS services and components, as well as detailing how this data can be applied by AWS users for a range of different use cases. Finally, it will review common use cases across AWS end users.

Hand Rolled Applicative User ValidationCode KataPhilip Schwarz
Could you use a simple piece of Scala validation code (granted, a very simplistic one too!) that you can rewrite, now and again, to refresh your basic understanding of Applicative operators <*>, <*, *>?
The goal is not to write perfect code showcasing validation, but rather, to provide a small, rough-and ready exercise to reinforce your muscle-memory.
Despite its grandiose-sounding title, this deck consists of just three slides showing the Scala 3 code to be rewritten whenever the details of the operators begin to fade away.
The code is my rough and ready translation of a Haskell user-validation program found in a book called Finding Success (and Failure) in Haskell - Fall in love with applicative functors.

How the detailed process of soa
1. How the detailed process of SOA ?
SOA works like a charger for many functions, or in other words SOA builds an interface that
can be accessed by various software. So far, a software built by binding data and processing
tools in a series. Similarly, the increasing number of data traffic between software that will
increase the cost for its implementation. SOA technology is tasked to alleviate the problem
by reducing the barriers of integration between different platforms. To illustrate how SOA
works in a company or business institution, can take samples of goods purchased
transactions via the internet by a netter or customer. In an IT system retailer using a SOA,
online purchases of goods that trigger a series of other transactions. For example, the
customer's credit card is verified, the delivery department is notified, the warehouse is
requested to adjust the inventory, and the bookkeeping records are updated. These
transactions are inputs of information sent through different systems or software, which are
sometimes unsuitable and can not relate to one another. However, SOA technology has
enabled the infrastructure that supports such transactions to be integrated and combined
integrally.
Explanation of the image path of the architecture-oriented service process
below
The SOA architecture in the above image will be built using SCA modeling which describes
the components to be constructed with the following paths :
• Initially built Management Application & Console to process application and console
settings that will communicate with each other in the system.
2. • Furthermore, every application or console is registered in the Registry System and
distributed also to Metadata Repository which serves as a storage warehouse for the
application or console that will be used as a service
• For a collection of applications and consoles distributed by Management Application &
Console to Metadata Repository properly validated, the Registry System performs the
verification process to Metadata Repository, does each application and console contained
in Metadata Repository have been registered? this process is necessary for each
application or console can be used as a service by the user (customers)
• A collection of applications and consoles stored in the Metadata Repository will be called
in the Security Service process to ensure that the application and console are safe to use
as a service
• Any user, whether human (customer) or non-human (device) elements that will access
such applications and consoles, needs to connect with a dedicated mainframe displaying
services to touchscreen display media, servers that use both Net.Asp and J2EE.Asp
platforms
• Mainframe, Net.Asp platform server as well as J2EE platform server.Asp is connected with
ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) that manages the flow of messages across different
applications, orchestrates communications and allows a method to access data messaging
applications. This process is not for data integration but rather a messaging mechanism.
• The ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) is connected to the mainframe provider network, the
Net.Asp platform server and the J2EE.Asp platform server, which can then be accessed by
stakeholders outside the company through a data communication network of different
types (proxies, VPNs)
