This document discusses performance measurement for school library resource centers (LRCs). It begins by explaining that reflection and evaluation are important for improving LRC effectiveness. Measuring performance using performance indicators can help identify strengths, areas for improvement, and justify funding requests. Both quantitative and qualitative measures should be used. Relevant data is already collected or can be easily obtained. User opinions are also valuable to collect through surveys, feedback forms, or interviews. By analyzing all the collected information, the librarian can assess how well the LRC is meeting its goals and identify areas for development in the next planning cycle.
