Industrial and commercial sites such as ports are often sources of damaging water pollution. If left untreated, pollutants such as sediment and heavy metals may be conveyed into rivers, lakes and oceans by surface water runoff. This case study uses real-world testing to illustrate how even challenging sites such as ports and industrial facilities can treat stormwater and meet discharge limits.
