Harper was a poet, author, and activist who worked to advance women's rights and abolish slavery. Eleanor Roosevelt advocated for civil rights as First Lady and at the UN. Yoko Ono, Zsuzsanna Budapest, and Leslie Feinberg all broke barriers through their artistic or gender non-conforming lives and political activism.

Jeff Frazier has worked as a teacher at Sacred Heart for 22 years, teaching a variety of subjects including history and psychology. He organized the Kentucky Youth Assembly for 13 years and the Kentucky United Nations conference for 11 years. He started several field days and dances for different grade levels at the school. In his personal life, he has been married for 23 years and has three teenagers. He participates in triathlons and volunteers at his church.

- 2. Holocaust Council Honors Dr. Paul Winkler Irit Felsen, PhD, has provided clinical psychology services in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, since 1996. Active in her community, Dr. Irit Felsen serves as a board member for the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest.
- 3. Holocaust Council Honors Dr. Paul Winkler For more than 25 years, the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest has furnished Holocaust education and commemoration services to the community. In April 2014, the council held its annual Yom Hashoah Holocaust Memorial event at Kean University's Wilkins Theater. The memorial, titled A Moral Mandate: Memories of the Unimaginable, recognized Holocaust survivor Cantor Judith Steel of Queens, New York.

Holocaust Council Honors Dr. Paul Winkler The Holocaust Council also used this year's Yom Hoashoah to honor Dr. Paul Winkler, the executive director of the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education. Over the last five decades, Dr. Winkler has played a key role in the development of Holocaust education programs for schools throughout New Jersey. He has served a variety of the state’s schools as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. He has also held responsibilities as deputy assistant commissioner of education for exceptional children at the New Jersey Department of Education.
