Offers two types of
Nutrition Programs:
The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education
Program (EFNAP) and Supplemental
Assistance Program Education (SNAP-ED)
assists families acquire the knowledge, skills,
attitudes, and changed behavior necessary
for nutritionally sound diets; improve eating
and lifestyle behaviors as a preventative
approach to reducing diet-related health
problems.
Curriculums
Show Me Nutrition
Evidence based curriculum of 6-8 sessions
provided to youth’s grades pre-k to 8th with
age appropriate literacy based education in
areas of nutrition, food safety, physical
activity, body image and media influence on
health choices.
We offer 6 or 8 week, 1-2 hour session
Classes or One Time Presentations.
We can form classes any place you can
create a group.
We can attend Church events, Fairs,
Community Events, Farmers Markets,
and all events.

Eat Healthy, Be Active
Healthy Food can be delicious, and physical
activity can be fun. Eat Healthy Be Active is
an opportunity for adults to learn the skills
needed to make healthy eating and regular
physical activity part of their lifestyles.
Cooking Matters®
Chefs work with participants in a hands on 6
weeks series teaching the basics of selecting
nutritious, budget friendly ingredients and
preparing healthy meals.
Cooking Matters® for Teens and Adults
Cooking Matters® at the Store
Cooking Matters® for Childcare Providers
Eat Smart, Live Strong
This is a 6 session series to help older adults
improve their health by increasing fruit and
vegetable intake and becoming more
physically active.
