Phase 1

• Each team will research, and summarize
their findings with innovative methods,
using creativity and teamwork to produce
well documented - high quality work that
speak for itself about each civilization,
previously assigned by the teacher to each
team (in this case Rome).
• We have previously organized our team,
designed to fulfill any given task, with the
help of roles.

Research made in www.miscursos.itesm.mx.
Phase 2

• We shall investigate artifacts invented by our
previously assigned civilization. By studying
these artifacts, we shall study human society, and
their experience.
• Using these past objects, we´ll analyze them, and
recover some information, such as their inventors
needs, way of thinking and purpose.
• The team must be able to identify its assigned
civilization´s technology, and must be able to
answer such questions as:
*When was this artifact created?
*Why was it created?
*What motivated its creation?
*With what materials is it done?
*(Specifically) How does this artifact does
such a homework? – How does it works?
Phase 3

• Our objective is to identify human
interactions, their influence and how they
affect the future.
• Humans do their best to shape their future
according to their needs. Changes,
basically the core of history, may have
positive or negative outcomes.
• In this course, we will study the process to
crucial change, and how minimal change
may imply a crucial shift.
Phase 4

• Our goal is to make a list of
politic, economic and social characteristics
of our civilization previously assigned.
• We shall be able to identify the way of
being, of thinking, and the needs of these
people.
• We must do a map of Rome, and of its
cartography in vinyl banner.
