The Victorian era has altered Britain and the world in a majority of
ways such as the Crimean war and a vast amount of inventions took
place. In 1914 when World War 1 began a lot of countries were
damaged due to the conflict for 4 years and other countries joined in and
took sides. It was brutal and affected countries’ wealth and a lot of
them were in reccetion. After the war Germany signed the treaty of
Versailles and were in great despair and needed to regain their power so
Adolf Hitler became chancellor and invaded Poland in 1939 which
began World War 2. World War 2 was more violent than World War 1
as the weapons evolved and became more dangerous. World War 2
ended in 1945 when America dropped 2 atomic bombs on japan to stop
the conflict but it was too harsh to the innocent people.
