Technical Architect – Emerging Tech
Relevant work experience, including large systems software design and development experience, with
extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Responsibilities :
• Create or maintain Application, Data & Infrastructure architectures/design & guide/articulate to
development/technology/product & business teams.
• Drive Technology/Project Initiatives & Provide Architecture/Design, Estimates & Roadmap for
implementations
• Drive Product Optimizations for business growth & linear scale of systems.
• Drive Complexity Reduction/Simplification/Sunset & Technology Principles across the
development teams.
• Drive & Own Performance Engineering Practices across the development teams.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvements in architecture, process, tools & frameworks.
• Interact with chief architect levels within Client organization
• Travel flexibility to client locations is key
Skills :
• Tomcat/JBOSS/Apache HTTP Server/Mysql/Spring integration
• Two or more – Java/Scala/Akka/Groovy/Ruby
• Two or more - Redis/mongodb/couchbase/Cassandra/riak/rabbitmq
• Database (SQL/PLSQL, Query Optimizations, Partitions, Indexes, RACKS, Load Balancing,
Troubleshooting)
• HTML, CSS, JavaSript/JQuery/MooTools/YUI/JSON/REST

2. • CDN, Cloud Computing, Load Balancing, Networking Basics (Firewalls, SFTP, HTTP, SSL),
Chef/Puppet/nagios
Technology :
• Large Scale architecture methods and design techniques
• Strong experience with HA distributed caches and caching tools (memcache, oracle coherence
etc)
Nice to have :
