highest peaks in the world.
• Mount Everest, the world's tallest peak at 8848 m, is also found
here. It has soaring heights, steep peaks, valleys, and alpine
glaciers.
• It was formed when destructive Indo-Australian plate and
Eurasian plate collided. The Tethys Himalaya is the geosyncline of
this mountain range.
