Hilldrup Moving & Storage is one of the largest United Van Lines operators on the east coast with over 100 years of history. They tasked Hodges Digital Strategies with developing a mobile app, MovePro, to help customers better manage their move. MovePro allows users to track tasks, contact movers, keep inventory of boxes, and access utilities to help with the transition. The app was designed to provide ongoing value for customers beyond just the moving day.

How do you build a mobile app with a long shelf-life
for a one-time event? Hilldrup MovePro is a platform
that helps people manage all aspects of their move
and provides tools to help them get situated in their
new home after the heavy lifting is finished.

DASHBOARD VIEW The status of the current move and related aspects can be
viewed in the dashboard view. Time-sensitive checklists help
users action pre-move tasks, assign them to a friend or add to
their calendar. Move counselor can be contacted by emailing

MY BOXES A key insight while building the app was that most people do
not unpack all of their belongings after a move. My Boxes
helps users keep track of their belongings in the weeks
following the move while they sort out all of the boxes.

on the box. The QR code is readable only on the device that
