It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Adri Hildebrandt. In my capacity as the Youth Collection
and Program Coordinator Librarian for the Chippewa River District Library I have worked with Adri for two years,
and am continuously impressed by her intelligence, work ethic, and attention to detail.
A large portion of Adri’s position at the library involves working directly with the public, which can be a struggle for
some. Adri, however, not only excels at providing excellent customer service, but clearly enjoys working with library
patrons and ensuring that they walk away pleased with the interaction. Her ability to effectively communicate with
our diverse patron base has been a great asset to the library while her maturity and competence ensures that she
rarely needs the support during difficult interactions that many other pages require. Her effective communication
skills extend to other staff members as well. Her engaging personality ensures that she has an excellent working
relationship with her colleagues as well as with administration and management. Adri is often called upon to help
with the training of new staff members. She possesses a positive attitude and set of leadership skills that are perfect
for providing training and constructive feedback to new hires.
From the time she started with the library, Adri has gone above and beyond her required job duties. It is very clear
that she takes pride in doing her job exceptionally. There have been multiple times that she has suggested a slight
change or improvement in our operating processes that have resulted in an exponentially larger improvement in
work flow and efficiency. For example, the simple suggestion to switch to reusable bags instead of plastic for storing
a particular library collection resulted in a great reduction in waste, a better patron experience, and much less staff
frustration.
In summary, Adri will be an excellent addition to any company, as she has been a great asset to the library, and I
highly recommend her for employment. In my years of experience, some people stand out for their all-around
