 Experienced business development professionalGary Rixson
works as a consultant at Lockton Companies in KansasCity,
Missouri. In addition to his activities at Lockton,Gary Rixson
supports the work of a number of charitable organizations,
including Higher M-Pact, a KansasCity-based nonprofit that
assists youth in at-risk situations through various programs and
activities.

Program
 One of Higher M-Pact’s main programs, Leaders ofTomorrow
provides long-term mentoring services for youth 11 to 18 years of
age. In addition to receiving life and social skills training,
participants in the program have the opportunity to build
meaningful relationships with caring adults, who assist them in
making better choices and working toward positive goals that will
help them attain future success.

Program
 Leaders ofTomorrow also exposes youth to the professional world
through job shadowing programs and summer internships at local
businesses. Outside of the mentoring services and professional
training programs, Leaders ofTomorrow participants give back to
the community themselves during monthly and annual
community service projects.
