million letters make up the
human genetic code. What
are the odds of having the
number an exact match
to core relationships be-
tween mankind and God
as presented in the Bible?
As possible combinations
of numbers that make up
the gene code are expo-
nential, I will leave it to
mathematicians among us
to determine. In any case
it makes one wonder.
What other factors of our
human condition and sci-
ence are hiding in plain
sight? This Newsletter is
designed to peak your
interest in our upcoming
stage play:

For almost ten years now
off and on, I have been
researching, writing and
working on a single pres-
entation. My desire has
been to capture, tell the
story of God, Mankind and
the created universe from
the Bible’s perspective.

We start with the human ge-
nome to get your attention,
whose letters total 3.15 bil-
lion in number plus or minus
one percent. The above arti-
cle is from a USA Today News-
paper picked up from my ho-
tel. I discovered it on the air-
plane returning home from
Atlanta after presenting at
the International Society of
Technology Educators (ISTE)
that year.
As I read the piece, my spirit
begin to soar and sing within
me. I was overjoyed as I read
the number of letters in the
genetic code. It is the only
thought that occurred to me.
Ask any child or adult who has
been to Sunday school. What
is the greatest verse in the
bible? Most will say; “John
3:16, For God so loved the
world that he gave his only
begotten son, that whosoever
believes in him should not

I chose the form of a stage
play because of the need to
present a complete picture in
a single setting. Many people
do not know the creation
story or the journey of man-
kind on earth as described by
the bible.

story of God’s love and grace

There are no great leaps of
faith or insight required to see
what the verses reveal and
what the numbers in the code
suggest.
Likewise, the most important
verse in the Old Testament
would be Genesis 3:15.
“From now on, you and the
woman will be enemies, and

He will crush your head, and
you will strike his heel."
- Here, after the entry of sin
and death, due to disobedi-
ence, Mankind’s Fall, God lays
out the new relationships be-
tween Mankind and Satan and
God’s promise of restoration
through Jesus Christ.
- Adjacent verses describe
punishment of the snake, man
and suffering of all life on
earth due to sin.

gress is working on legislation to protect Americans' genetic privacy. The truce between
the competing projects left both sides smiling and promising to publish their scientific
results simultaneously later this year. If they do, the public would likely benefit even
more quickly from new gene-based drugs that target diseases at their most fundamental
causes. Pharmaceutical companies intend to mine the data from both projects to de-
velop medicines for diseases such as Alzheimer's, cancer and mental disorders. "The
only race we're interested in today is the human race, and we want them to be the win-
ners," Collins said.
The genetic code consists of the 3.15 billion letters that make up the
instructions for all human genes. The code varies among individuals by
only about 1%, but those variations are crucial to understanding how people respond
differently to drugs and why they are susceptible to different diseases. The Human Ge-
nome Project database that contains the genetic code is available to all scientists and
commercial users. A consortium of drug companies is searching the code for those
variations, which are called SNPs (pronounced snips). Celera's pharmaceutical com-
pany customers, who pay for use of the genetic code contained in Celera's monstrous
private database, also are searching for SNPs. "What we've done today is draw a bright
line in history," Venter says. "In 10 or 20 years, it will be clear how science and medicine

Verse: 14 refers to the first
mention of medicine and its
use in the Bible, it was needed
due to the sin of rebellion
against God, man being self
directed and self-willed.

A number of scientists bared their genetic souls recently as part of the Personal Ge-
nome Project, a study at Harvard University Medical School. They were among the
first of the eventually 100,000 volunteers who will
agree to place their genetic profiles on the Internet.
Genetic profiling can provide information on what dis-
eases may befall us. And knowledge of an individual’s
genetic makeup may also help scientists figure out how
to treat diseases—part of an emerging field known as
