Public Administration reform – European Integration context, 27-28th of November
Management Faculty - Public administration (ASE), Association of Schools and Institutes of Public
Administration, LEADERS Romania and British Council will organize the conference is entitled "
Public Administration reform – European Integration context" on October 27 – 28, 2005.
The conference aims to create a large experience sharing framework among experts, officials
supporting the public administration reform and individuals interested in this area. Topics of the
conference will cover results achieved for the efficiency and effectiveness of the public
administration activity within the European Integration context.
Guest speakers will be invited to present their ideas, work and vision in the public administration
reform. Representatives of the Presidential Administration, Romanian Government, Ministries and
central and local public institutions will attend this conference, as well as representatives of
international organizations that support the reform process, experts and students interested in this
field.

portal for active major investments and aquizitions”(Speakers: Mr. David Munden, Managing

YOUTH CAREER INITIATIVE
YCI is a program of The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum, implemented in
Romania by LEADERS Foundation. YCI partners with international hotels in order to offer
disadvantaged high school graduates a six months educational program.
The aim of the program is to improve the long term opportunities of these young people through
education and the experience of a five star hotel.
GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAYS 2005, 16-17th of April
National Institut of Administrtaion and National Park of Bucharest
The event that celebrates the internatioal volunteers days was promted in Romania by Leaders,
togheter with AIESEC, ASER, Elsa, SISC, VIP and last but not least the Municipal Council of
Sector 2. The first day of the festival consisted in some conferences, hold by people who were
volunteers. The second day brouhgt a bicycle contest. The total number of participants was 600,
with an average age of 21 years. Global Youth Service Days took place simoultaniously in four
cities: Sibiu, Cluj, Baia Mare, Horezu.

www.implica-te.ro is the only Romanian website that connects NGOs, companies, and volunteers.
NGOs & companies post opportunities and potential volunteers can search or browse these roles
available across the country. This website represents our commitment to the Civil Society
community, particularly those who are young and aspiring leaders. Our intention is to encourage
volunteering, positively change the perception of the meaning of community involvement, and
highlight the benefits that volunteering brings to society.

Leaders Forum, 15th of December
The forum took place on december, the 15th and it had as target young leaders (between 20and 35
years) from Leaders communities -civil society, business and governance- from Central and South-
East Europe.
Leaders Awards, 15th of December
Leaders Awards are offered every year, exclusivly for personal and proffesional results, to the
youngsters who proved interess and initiative in the solve of the problems their he community deals
with. In 2004, the contest’s secions were:”best manager”, “best entrepreneur”, “best public servant”,
“best volunteer”. Leaders Awards winners were:

“SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE … AND GO TO GREAT !”, 26-30th September
In September 26 – 30, 2004 LEADERS Romania , in partnership with the British Embassy,
Bucharest , organized a training and experience sharing program entitled “Share your experience…
and go to great”. This program, targeting young public servants in Romania and surrounding
countries, sought to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas, to provide
practical training sessions, and to encourage the networking of the participants, all of which can aid
the participants in becoming more professional, effective, and efficient public servants.
8. GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAYS , 28-29th of April
Leaders foundation together with a National Coordination Committee(made of 6 student
organizations- AIESEC, ASER, CERP Students, ELSA Bucuresti, GdAC, VIP), organized between
28-29th of April 2004 the 4th edition of Global Youth Service Days, which had as motto: “Invest in
youth!”.
The Entrepreneurs` Club 2004
In 2004, the Entrepreneurs` Club knew a strong development, as the number of its’ members grew
with 38percents. The number of messages doubled.
2003
THE COMMUNITY OF YOUNG PUBLIC SERVANTS
The program is continuing 2 international projects involving countries like Romania, Yugoslavia
and Moldova , and was held in Timisoara , Bucharest , Iasi and Chisinau in November 2003.

LEADERS regional Forum
2003 edition’s purpose was the promovation of social responsability as an efficient way of
strenghtening the connections between Leaders comunities and the connection of those with senior
profesionists from all over the world, by creating a regional network of young leaders, who initiante
projects in partnership and changed ides, knowledge and succesful practises in a virtual background
with online trainings and resources.

The major objectives of the summer school were: leadership, management and negotiation for

LEADERS Forum 2002
Forum 2002 focused on the SWOT analysis for Leaders as organisation, the creation of strong
points and opportunities and the analisys of weaker points and threats by a series of concrete actions
and activities.
