To provide savings to public servants, Homes for Heroes gives rebates to military members, veterans, police, firefighters, EMTs, teachers, and healthcare workers who use their real estate services. Created after 9/11 to honor sacrifices, they have given over $11 million back to heroes and helped heroes collectively save $2,000 on average. Heroes receive a 25% credit on realtor commissions for closing costs and discounts from affiliated lenders, inspectors, and closing services.
