Hector was a Trojan prince and one of the most popular warriors who fought in the Trojan War. He was the son of Priam and Hecuba and was married to Andromache, with whom he had a son. During the war, Hector killed Achilles' friend Patroclus, angering Achilles. When Hector and Achilles fought, Achilles defeated and killed Hector with the help of Athena. After Hector's death, his father Priam went to Achilles to retrieve Hector's body for burial.
