Moses refused the plans of Pharaoh and instead chose to identify himself with the people of God, enduring mistreatment and regarding reproach for Christ as greater than Egyptian riches. By faith, Moses persevered through many trials as he led God's people, seeing an unseen reward. He obeyed God by instituting the Passover, foreshadowing salvation through Christ's sacrifice.

5. Moses Persevered (v27)
• ‘Persevered’ – ‘kartereō’ to be steadfast
