In the early 80’s a new musical genre appeared, the heavy metal, the hardest music
ever known. This new genre bring a new fashion style used by the musicians and,
after that, by the fans. This people wear mainly dark boots or military boots, fade or
broken jeans, a dark T-shirt with the cover of a heavy metal album or an image of a
heavy metal band, a black leather jacket and long hair.

They can also wear accesories like necklaces or bracelets with silver thorns, a belt
made with bullets and black and white facial paint.


Present style born around ten years ago like an evolution of the urban style mixed
with fashion trademarks. This style consists in colour clothes, with short shoes or
boots, jeans or colour trousers, a colour T-shirt with a few words and numbers
(sometimes the name of the trademark) and a dark jacket or a hoodie. They don’t
wear any accesories, only a belt for the trousers and a scarf if it’s cold.

 Present style is more colour and birght than heavy
metal.
 Because the colours and the accesories, heavy metal
is hardest and more masculine than present style.
 People look heavy metal style like an old and
obsolete style, but is one of the most used style in the
present.

style because are clothes made by famous
trademarks.
 But heavy metal style is cheaper than present style
because it was used by poor people and that’s why is
more urban than the present style too.
