This symposium is designed for clinicians involved in
multidisciplinary cardiology care including, but not limited
to cardiologists, internal medicine physicians, nurses,
physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
Upon participation in this activity, attendees will be able to:
• Recognize different approaches to reduce hospital
re-admission for heart failure and arrhythmia.
• Describe a multidisciplinary and comprehensive
approach to evaluate and manage atrial and
ventricular arrhythmias.
• Incorporate new evidence-based guidelines for
hypertension, lipid, arrhythmia and heart failure
management.
• Recognize the various percutaneous and
implantable circulatory support devices for
management of advanced heart failure and shock.
