2. A hearing aid is a small electronic device that you wear in or behind your
ear. It is primarily useful in improving the hearing and speech
communication of people who have hearing loss due to damage caused to
the inner ear.
Your hearing loss is as unique as your fingerprint – and your hearing aids
can be too. With the help of a hearing care professional, you can find a
hearing aid that suits your hearing, your life, and your style.

4. How do hearing aids work?
All hearing aids consist of the four basic components: a microphone, an
amplifier, a receiver (speaker) and a battery. But some hearing aids can do
much more for you.
The hearing aid that works best for you depends on the kind and severity of
your hearing loss. If you have a hearing loss in both of your ears, two hearing
aids are generally recommended because two aids provide a more natural
signal to the brain. It will help you understand speech and locate where the
sound is coming from.
5. BEHIND-THE-EAR (BTE) HEARING AIDS
There are three BTE hearing aid types to choose
from:
•A standard BTE hearing aid, whose receiver sits in
the casing behind the ear. We also have a receiver-
in-the-ear (RITE) and a receiver-in-canal (RIC)
hearing aid.
•Placed discreetly behind your ear
•For mild to moderately severe and up to profound
hearing loss.
6. IN-THE-EAR (ITE) HEARING AIDS
A standard ITE hearing aid sits discreetly in the ear canal
opening. We also have the practically invisible
completely-in-canal (CIC) hearing aid, which sits deeply
and invisibly in your ear canal.
•The least visible hearing aid type
•Customized to fit your ear canal
•For minimal to moderately severe hearing loss.
7. Getting the right

No two people are the same when it comes to need and preference. The same goes
for selecting the right hearing aid. To many, a discreet hearing aid solution is a must.
But there are many factors to consider. Your hearing care professional will help you
