This activity introduces infants and toddlers to apples through hands-on exploration of different varieties. Children will touch, smell, taste and explore the textures of whole and sliced apples. They will learn about the colors, shapes, pits and seeds inside apples. Songs about apples will be sung to further engage the children. The goal is to help children learn about where food comes from and develop healthy eating habits through a fun, multi-sensory experience. Safety precautions like checking for allergies and handwashing will be followed.
