On 30 December in Youth office in Belgrade Milena Milićević from The Faculty of Engineering Management held a lecture where she shared her impressions from One Young World Summit (OYW) in Johannesburg where she represented Serbia in October 2013. She explained to the motivated people, students and young professionals, in which international projects they can take part.
The international Summit ''One Young World'' was initiated by Kate Robertson and David Jones, working at media agency Havas so that young people, aged 18-30 get engaged in projects and start developing their leadership skills and international communication. Summit One Young World is because of the quality of young delegates and councellors conceptualized like ’’Davos for 25-year olds.’’ During OYW prominent councellors worked with delegates, including Richard Branson, Nobel Laureatte Mohammed Yunus, Arianna Huffington, Bob Geldof, Kofi Annan, Boris Becker, Jamie Oliver and other people.
In her lecture, Milena Milićević introduced global initiatives and knowledge that she obtained in the following fields: fundraising, community organizing, gender equality and health protection for youth, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, travels for youth and media. Moreover, Milena thanked to her friends who helped her go to Summit due to Indiegogo campaign and to companies which donated money for her endeavour: EXIT Foundation, Telekom Serbia, Elektrovojvodina and Infostud.
In 2014 we should expect lectures about entrepreneurship, sustainable development and gender equality from Milena and her team so that we encourage initiatives of young people in Serbia and that we become part of regional and global projects within the organization ''One Young World.''

Big data innovation conferance, Frankfurt 2016
The digitalisation of businesses and the expectations associated with it grow every year, however for smaller manufacturing firms this is creating problems. Based on direct observations from working with manufacturers, this presentation will show how the application of big data is complex for these firms and it risks creating major problems. Short case studies will be used to highlight these problems, based around the following three themes.
- analysis and exploitation of existing data;
- interconnectivity of equipment within the customer’s environment;
- data collection and management.
These problems are preventing the uptake of new business models by these manufacturing firms that could provide better outcomes for their customers.

IoF National Convention: Hidden motivations and income streams - understandin...JustGiving
Your supporters often have very personal reasons to raise money for your charity and can become powerful advocates for your cause. In this session JustGiving will share insight on something they're calling the fundraising 'network effect'- the idea that fundraisers inspire others to take on charity challenges and help you recruit supporters. The charity Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres will share how they've increased fundraising at their event 'Maggie's Monster Bike & Hike' and taken their event registration process online. This session will also explore a key motivation for many charity supporters - fundraising In Memory of a loved one. JustGiving research indicates that people taking part in an event to fundraise in memory of a loved one raise up to 54% more than fundraisers who aren't raising money in memory. Insights from JustGiving and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity will explain why and how you should look after these highly motivated individuals.
Greg Warner from MarketSmart joins to share more about engagement fundraising and how you can use it to raise more funds from major donors and legacy gifts.

Introduction
There are so many parents that can’t afford for their children to go to school these, because it is very expensive. It is also highly expensive for adults as well. There are so many families out there that struggle to put food on their tables, clothes on their back, because time is truly hard. I think every child and adult deserves a chance to excel, and succeed in life. There is one particular organization that helps give everyone in need that chance, and to learn how to be their own person. This organization is called The United Way of Greenville County. The United Way of Greenville is a spectacular organization for a child to be in, to learn everything they need to know in school. It also helps adults get their GED, or high school diploma. The United Way of Greenville’s vision is for everyone in Greenville County to be successful in life. United Way of Greenville’s mission is to bring everyone together as a whole, and to help them learn. They want all of their graduates to be prepared and to find great jobs in the future . The United Way of Greenville constantly challenge their selves to quickly stay on their toes, to reach for greatness, to think outside of the box, and to work together to be able to build success for everyone in Greenville County.
United Way of Greenville’s Net Contributed Income
In 2017, The United Way of Greenville had raised an awesome amount of $16,662,591. In 2016, they have raised about $125,000 less then what they did last year. There were also no more than 1,500 volunteers (Mitchell, 2018). Although the United Way of Greenville is not quite the largest charity in town, they still manage to keep raising money, and maintain an incredibly well net income. United Way raises all of their money so they could help any, and everyone they possibly can to become successful in life. United way is strengthened by all of their supporters, staff, and all of the people they help support. I think The United Way of Greenville constantly keep increasing their number of donors, because if they keep increasing their income will definitely increase as well. United Way has donors that give them a great deal of money, because they believe in them and know they will continue to strive for their community. Any organization should build a good friendly relationship with all of their supporters, as well as their potential supporters. I think if you get in good with them, they would spread the work on how nice, and genuine your organization truly is.
The Usage of United Way’s funds
The United Way of Greenville uses their funds on getting all of the books, and supplies that everyone needs to perform well on their academics. The ...
Before you get started fundraising, you need to understand donors - why they do or do not give. Then using stories to connect and communicate - online and offline. Once that is in place, leveraging the cost effective, high learning, easy to spread nature of online to infuse your fundraising becomes easier.
