When the speed of employee learning needs to keep pace with the digital transformation of organizations large and small, the solutions are far from obvious. Digital transformation is changing the learning and development function and the role of the CLO. It is as much about strategy and culture as it is about technology. So how does the learning and development function enable successful market and organizational change in the digital era? This webinar will focus on three core areas of technological and functional change for L&D: how to facilitate organizational change with cross functional collaboration; how to create learning experiences using AI; and design thinking and agile approaches and how to avoid common pitfalls. The speakers, Amy Loomis and Robert Burnside, bring direct experience from their years of work in the industry and through current consulting engagements. Loomis led the development and instantiation of IBM’s Think Academy and Burnside was Ketchum’s CLO. Join them in a conversation on how L&D can build resilient organizations that are well equipped to navigate the demands of work in the digital era.

The Open-Source Revolution in Corporate Training & Development: LMS Trends an...Human Capital Media
Corporations, hospitals, non-profits, and many other organizations are making the switch to open-source Learning Management Systems, like Moodle and Totara, for their professional development, onboarding, and other training needs. Driving this trend is the fact that open-source software is both free to use as well as highly customizable to meet specific user needs. These platforms can also incorporate eCommerce capability, making them ideal for organizations in the business of selling online training. No matter the type of organization, open-source Learning Management Systems can help you streamline training in an online environment for a more efficient and economical solution than conventional face-to-face learning.
In this session, you will learn why open-source Learning Management Systems set the bar in the corporate sector and how your organization may be able to take advantage of these cost effective solutions. We will highlight different open-source options, including the most widely used LMS in the world, Moodle, and discuss trends in platform adoption. We will also discuss best practices for using open-source software as a training tool, such as how to create an efficient onboarding process, use analytics to track employee training and improve outcomes and skillsets, and how to incorporate eCommerce functionality such as a shopping cart to share/sell courses.
You will gain insights on:
The growing open-source trend in the corporate sector
How using an open-source product can lead to receiving the highest possible level of service at the lowest possible price
Best practices in open-source implementation

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

zkStudyClub - Reef: Fast Succinct Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Regex ProofsAlex Pruden
This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).

10. Types of IIQs and Point Value Type Description Point Value Essential If the candidate does not possess this attribute, he/she may be out. These questions usually have an “K” designation. 15 Primary These attributes are primary functions of the position and the possession of several, not all, of them is necessary. 10 Preferences These attributes are nice to have, but are easily overlooked if the above are met. 5 Data Point The purpose of this question is to obtain specific data on the candidate, not evaluate the individual. 1 3rd section of job plan
23. SIQ Question Topics Topic Example Experiences “ Tell us about a time when your operational audit uncovered a serious issue. How did you fix it? What was your role?” Situational “ Auditors and operations teams often disagree over important issues. Describe a time when you have managed a similar or applicable situation. How did you resolve the disagreement?” Related to current company issue “ How do you think Yahoo’s release of Panama will impact the interactive marketing of the Google-centric small and mid-sized business users?”
Essential attributes should be used more sparingly or the job may be hard to fill
These are guidelines not hard and fast rules. There may be occasions when an essential attribute might be the first on the list. There are questions that are inappropriate and should not be asked for legal reasons – such as marital status, age, diversity, sexual preference, etc.
Not enough spread of scoring. We must only reward the most qualified candidates, periods, repetition in “delivered”
Obvious, lower case, points?
Too general, “would be new to” and using “you”
There should also be a strong correlation between the most essential areas addressed by the IIQs. The SIQs should give the opportunity to expand upon or provide more detail of the topics most heavily weighted in the IIQs
