The top programs by social rating points are UEFA Champions League matches and cycling world championships. In general, sports programs generated more social discussion than entertainment or talent shows. The document also notes that viewers are more likely to use social media instead of TV during advertising breaks, and programs that inspire more buzz online suffer less from viewers changing channels.
