This document provides an overview of an art exhibition featuring paintings inspired by science, physics, and space. The paintings were created over several years in a post-abstract expressionist style using mixed media on large wood panels and canvases. The series is inspired by the character of Harlequin from Italian comedy and aims to capture Harlequin's physical agility and flexibility through colorful, expressive styles while incorporating knowledge of science and physics. Several of the paintings, like "The Forbidden Fruit," were worked on over multiple years as the artist refined techniques and developed deeper layers in the pieces.

1. Harlequin and the infinite Space-time
This exhibition proposal is a joyful , colourful ,different and unique group of paintings, which I would
say created in a Post abstract expressionism style. The paintings were created on large wood panels
and canvases in various sizes. I have been working on this series of paintings for the past few years.
The inspiration came from my interest in science, physics and space.
This series always reminds me of the unique personality of the most popularly known zanni or comic
servant characters from the Italian Commedia del l’arte, the Harlequin.
The primary aspect of Arlecchino was his physical agility. Who while generally depicted as stupid and
gluttonous, was very nimble and performed the sort of acrobatics the audience expected to see.
The character would never perform a simple action when the addition of a cartwheel, somersault,
or flip would spice up the movement. Within these restrictions the character was tremendously elastic
and those elements appealed to me while creating this art work.
Taking the inspiration and knowledge I got from my interests and readings about science space and
physics, combining that with colourful and expressive style while keeping the humour and flexibility.

2. Over the years I have been working on few of the paintings layer by layer, trying to develop sensitive
deepness while implementing new technique of laying the paint on the wooden panels or canvases.
The forbidden fruit, for example, was created over about five years time and it is very difficult for me to
decide when a painting is completed, maybe because we are forever growing and developing our
personalities, and so it our creations.
