1. Happy Mother’s Day
A mother listens, to way a baby cries
She knows by its sound, her baby’s need
Often it’s the discomfort, of soiled diapers
Or maybe it is just simply, a time to feed.
A mother learns, her baby’s sound, of trouble
She’ll come a running, to provide immediate care
Sometimes panic echoes, in her baby’s cry
This emergency reaction, all loving mothers, share.
Our Father in Heaven, is also our parent
He knows how to react, to our emergency cry
We send him alerts, when we go to Him, in prayer
He’s there for our rescue, without questioning why.
A little baby cries, for the service, of its mother
Who is nearby, to provide the immediate care
Over time, the baby grows up, with knowledge
But their mothers love, is still, very much there.
A mother’s love, never dies for a minute
Just as her voice, can be heard, for miles
Wisdom comes easy, from her experience
And comfort comes, from her patient smiles.
Never go against, the love of a mother
She will take on a bear and meet him, toe to toe
I’m a witness, I’ve seen angry mothers, in action
God will give them strength, to defeat any foe.
Gently sooth a mother, with beautiful flowers
As a sincere gesture, that shows you care
Show love and respect, with well-earned appreciation

2. Because you were the answer, to her special prayer.
Take the time today, to show her your love
For years she has shared, her love with you
She has been the blessing, of your back-up plan
She prayed every day, and added you, too.
Take time each day, to thank your mother
You may want to bless her, with a hug and a kiss
Do it today, while you both, are together
For one day in the future, her hugs, you’ll miss.
