1. Poema Hoy me acorde madre
Hoy me acorde madre querida,
De tus consejos hermosos que me decías,
Que no supe escuchar en su momento,
Cuando apenas, tenía quince años.
Me decías, estudia, estudia, estudia,
Para que no sufras como yo mijito,
Al cual no supe oírte madre mía,
Tus sabios consejos que me lo decías.
Pero hoy sentí en carne propia,
Tus palabras madre querida,
Tu sufrimiento, tu dolor, tus lágrimas,
tu agotamiento en tu trabajo,
Entendí que a pesar que pasaron los años,
Todavía estoy a tiempo de superarme.
La vida me ha enseñado duros golpes,
Por no haberte oído, tus sabios consejos,
Que también te hice derramar lágrimas,
Por no haber acatado en ese momento,
De tus hermosos consejos,
Que me lo decías con profundo sufrimiento,

2. Fuiste madre y padre a la vez,
Que te sacrificaste tu felicidad,
Por darme mi tranquilidad,
El cariño, el amor que un hijo necesita.
Gracias madre por todo lo que has hecho,
No tengo palabras de cómo agradecerte,
Lo inmenso que has hecho madre,
Y que hoy entendí, por todos los golpes
Que he recibido de la vida.
Poem Today I remember Mother
Today I wake up, dear mother,
From your beautiful advice that you told me,

You told me, study, study, study,
