    implementing ENERGY-SAVING projects across all industries.

   Incubated in the SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK, UNIVERSITY OF
    PUNE and tie-up with INDIA 800 FOUNDATION.

   HANUL’S focus is it’s NEW, HIGHLY INNOVATIVE LIGHTING
    TECHNOLOGY specially designed for INDIAN CONDITIONS.
   To offer Safe environment to women in the villages.


   Local entrepreneurship development and women empowerment.

   Population 1.2 billion; 48.2% are women; 70% rural & 30% urban.

   Growth rates 7 – 9.6% creates affluence & some social mobility.

   886 million mobile subscribers, second largest in the world.

   World Wealth Report 2011 (Cap Gemini and Merrill Lynch) India’s
    High Net Worth individual population rose by more than 26,000 to
    153,000.

   20.3% Millionaire growth rate against a world average of 8.3%.

   Greater role for women in development.

   Ranked 119th of 169 countries on Human Development Index.

   2 people die - 3 minutes due to TB; 9.7% Food inflation Sept 2011.

   BMC Software joined forces with Hanul Technologies to light up one
    village.

   Sakur village in Sangmner Taluka of Ahemadnagar District with 23
    households.

   Each household was donated with Solar Powered LED Lighting
    System.

   Seven street lights were installed in the village.
   To donate savable energy for rural electrification.

   An opportunity to showcase an unique project where Corporate
    Social Responsibility , Technology & Determination can make it
    possible to relocate excess energy to the needy.


   A small village with about 50 homes with Smart Street Lights and a
    Filtered Water Pumping System will require only about 15 Kilowatt
    Hours per day.
   A Television Set with DTH & One Computer with internet connection
    will take about 5 Kilowatt hours per day.

   A Solar/Windmill hybrid battery charging station to charge hand
    held Torch for about 50 No’s.

   Kids can study at home in the evening and can have a better
    prospect for future.

   Household electrification increases the likelihood that woman can
    earn sustainable income.
