Han (Will) Wang interned as an outreach coordinator for a green jobs program. His supervisor, Euphemia Martin, provides a glowing recommendation. I, Euphemia Martin, had the privilege to work with Han (Will) this fall as his supervisor. Han (Will) worked as
an intern outreach coordinator from Binghamton University for the Green Jobs Green NY /Home Performance
with Energy Star program in the Southern Tier. He is very professional, tidy, and always at work on time. He
works very well with other co-workers and is great with multitasking. He has been responsible for setting up
and giving presentations to the public, organizing media outreach, and maintaining case management of clients
who participate in New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA)’s residential, small
business and non-for-profit organization energy efficiency programs.
He took initiative in reaching out to organizations, local and regional groups in the Southern Tier counties
where the program had not yet been active to create partnerships and encourage the development and
implementation of local energy projects. Through various strategies to expand the public knowledge of
NYSERDA’s business assistance services, which are available to early-stage, clean-energy businesses, Han
(Will) worked diligently to extend help to energy related businesses.
Han (Will) played a big role in networking with local officials and leaders (stockholders) and helping to
increase the number of active participants in the program because of his Internet research and outreach skills.
He is very quick and effective at gathering and organizing information. He created partnerships to encourage
the development and implementation of the energy efficiency program. Han (Will) has provided assistance to
energy-related businesses and entrepreneurs through initiatives that have increased the awareness of this
program through the use of NYSERDA’s advertisement and outreach materials.
Han (Will) was a valuable addition to my office for the short time he was here, and I would not hesitate to
recommend him to future employers. He will be greatly missed; my loss is your gain. Please don’t hesitate to
