From: Home Folks Old Fashioned Quick & Easy Recipes For Diabetics
1(1 1/2 lb) ham steak
1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons reduced-calorie molasses
1 cup water
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup artificial sweetener (splenda can be used)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Directions
1. Broil, grill, or bake ham steak as desired.
2. Combine dry mustard, and nutmeg in small saucepan.
3. Stir in lemon juice and molasses until smooth
4. Gradually stir in water and raisins
5. Heat over medium heat to boiling, stirring frequently
6. Boil and stir 1 minute
7. Remove from heat and stir in artificial sweetener and butter until melted.
8. Spoon raisin sauce over each portion of ham.
