Halloween in lyceum Spataru
Hello, dear partners!
• At lyceum N.M.Spataru we celebrate
Halloween sometimes in classes, sometimes
we organize it as a holiday for students in our
Assembly Hall. Because of some parents who
don’t like Halloween, we now organize
Autumn Parties which have the elements of
Halloween and students may come dressed
up. All events are held in English. Here some
photos from different parties.
Characters of Russian fairy–tales want
to celebrate Halloween
They pretend to be heroes from horror
films and make students do some tasks
We sing for elves
Of course, we sing in English
We dance for Fata Morgana
Duckling for an apple is a traditional
game.
It’s not so easy!
Merry games
Students show their Jack-o –Lanterns
made from a pumpkin
In class students show a horrible story
with happy end
Lyceum students also like Halloween
Parties
They sing their favorite English songs
They make up horror story and
illustrate it.
Each team has their own end of the
story and presents it.
Also students should show the fairy-
tale Red Riding Hood in different
genres
It’s an action genre where Red Riding
Hood is an undercover agent
And here you can see a romantic story
We play funny games
We play funny games
Dance Flash-mob
Dance Flesh-mob
We prepare the final dance.
Also we have contests. The students
make beautiful compositions from
nature materials
It’s our way to celebrate Halloween.
• Of course in different grades students organize
their own parties. Sometimes we have
different contests. For example: The Best Jack-
O-Lantern, or posters: My favorite Monster, or
wall newspapers: Traditions of Halloween.
• At English lessons we also discuss the ways of
celebrating Halloween, its history, see some
videos and cartoons, learn Halloween
vocabulary and sing Halloween songs.
