 Q1) What is meant byHadidth?
 Ans)The Arabic word Hadith means ‘statement' or ‘talk'
 In the Shariah, the word Hadith means those things or action, which Prophet Muhammad
(SAW) said . ‘Sunnah' which is also used for Hadith, but usually ‘Sunnah' is used to report
a deed, such as how the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) slept or ate etc, while
Hadith is used for ‘talk'.
 Collection of the sayings, actions, and speech of the Holy prophet ( that is any such action
that was performed in the presence of Hazrat Muhammad and he remained silent about
that matter ) the collection of all such things is known as Hadidth.
 The hadidth are the major source of guidance about our religion. The
most important purpose of Prophet was to present a practical example of
the Holy Quran. They are the source for us to understand the commands
of Allah . Muslims should make Hadidth a practical model for our lives.
 Our lives should be according to the sayings and actions of our Prophet.
 Quran Says in SurahMuhammad ayaah 33

‫س‬َّ‫ر‬‫ٱل‬ ۟‫وا‬ُ‫ع‬‫ي‬ِ‫ط‬َ‫َأ‬‫و‬ َ َّ
‫ٱَّلل‬ ۟‫وا‬ُ‫ع‬‫ي‬ِ‫ط‬َ‫أ‬ ۟‫ٰٓا‬‫و‬ُ‫ن‬َ‫م‬‫َا‬‫ء‬ َ‫ين‬ِ‫ذ‬َّ‫ٱل‬ ‫َا‬‫ه‬ُّ‫ي‬َ‫أ‬ٰٓ‫َـ‬‫ي‬ ۞

 O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and do not let your
deeds be in vain.

 Abu Hurairah narrated that The Messenger of Allah said:
 “The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character among them.
And the best of you are those who are best to your women.” (Musnad Ahmed 9153)
 Q-3) Write down the translation of the verse of the Holy Quran related to the importance
of Hadidth?

elsewhere, he has betrayed him.”

 It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah ( ‫ﷺ‬
) said:
 "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has
received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. So fear Allah and be moderate in
seeking provision; take that which is permissible and leave that which is forbidden. "

 Hadidth provide us the great knowledge and understanding about our religion. Hadidth

 Without following the Hadidths and sunnah in our practical life we cannot be a good
practising Muslim.
