This document provides information about the #HackThePlanet VR app and event. It summarizes that the event will use Google Cardboard VR headsets to try and set the world record for simultaneous VR headset use. It describes the #HackThePlanet app experience as an immersive, trippy VR experience set to music from cult cyberpunk films like Hackers, accompanied by experimental tracks from composer Simon Boswell. Attendees will be able to view 360 degree VR content and cosplay models captured with a 3D scanning device. The event aims to provide a surreal, mind-bending VR experience combining lo-fi cardboard headsets with hi-tech VR content.

Get set to take the #HackThePlanet virtual pill and boot up too a magical
mystery mind-melting tour, accompanied by a brand new Lo-Fi and dirty
'Hackers' track by 'Revenge of Calculon' & 'Simon Boswell'. The experience
uses early experimental samples and code that never made into the
pioneering EDM movie 'Hackers' and only recently discovered on a yellow
floppy disc.
