for our climb
The following will give you step-by-step
instructions to master each climb – and have a
little bit of fun along the way.

3. Here’s how to get started. Look out for a postcard in your inbox
each day that announces the topic you’ll be learning about

4. You’ll drop into the module at Base Camp, where you’ll see
which part of the 360º consumer experience you’ll
be exploring

5. If you’re just starting a module, you need to create an Expedition
Journal. Click on ‘Embrace the Challenge’ on the Base Camp page,
or ‘Expedition Journal’ in the menu bar at the top of the page
Your Journal will be where you record your responses to each challenge activity
You will create a new expedition journal at the start of each module

6. Once on the page titled Create Your Expedition, follow these
three easy steps to create your individual expedition journal
for that module:
Enter your name
Find your team in the
dropdown menu
Press publish
Make sure you select the
team that you’ve been
assigned to in your kickoff
meeting!

7. Now you’re ready to begin your first topic!
To begin a topic:

You can access the challenge by selecting
‘Your Challenges’ in the top menu and
clicking on the triangle next to Day 1:
Challenge on the left side of the screen. A
drop-down menu will appear.
If you’re just starting a module, make sure to
start with the Day 1 Challenge and then move to
the next day as you finish each challenge.
Click on Step 1 Introduction from that
drop-down menu. This will take you to
your first task.

8. You’ll now be at the introduction page for that day’s topic.
Start the topic by watching the expert video.

9. Your next step will be to read the key terms before you dive
into the challenge activity
Click on “Step 2: Key Terms” in the menu on the left-side of the page. Read
through each key term, its definition and where you can find it in action online.

10. Next you’ll take on the challenge activity. You’ll record your
answers to key questions in your Expedition Journal
To move ahead to the challenge activity, click on Step 3: Your Challenge on the
left side of the page.

11. Before you leave your journal, it is very important that you
publish your expedition journal after each challenge
Publishing your expedition journal indicates that you’ve finished the day’s topic,
and are ready to move on to the next
To publish your expedition journal after you’ve finished responding to a challenge,
just click the Publish button at the bottom of the page (as shown below).

12. Be sure to comment on your colleagues responses, too
First, you have to find your teammates’ journals. To do so, click on “Expedition
Status” in the top menu. Next, click on the drop-down menu that says all teams
and select your team from this list. Click on a teammate’s name to review their
expedition journal. Read their journal responses and then write a comment at the
bottom of the page. Bonus

14. Each module will be accessible for the full duration of the
Digital Expedition
We’ll send out PDFs of the Key Terms and Top Tips for reference at the end of the
Digital Learning Expedition

15. If you’d like to go back to any module at any time, click on the
“Back to Community List” button at the top left of any page
When each module is opened, you will be able to access all of the Topics
available. You are encouraged to complete one topic per day.

16. Take a look at all of the leaders, experts, and guides
involved by clicking on the Support Team page
To access the Guides page or the Leaders & Experts page, click on the links in
the menu on the left-side of the page.
Leaders and guides will be taking the course, too, and will be commenting and
engaging with teams and individuals throughout each week
