1. WHY GROW?
Total 5 Million Disabled Youth
(Between 15 - 35 yrs.)
In our country out of five million disabled youth between the
ages of 15 - 35 years only 1% are employed. Apart from
fact that many disabled youth do not have skill sets that will
enable them to get jobs easily, the main impediments for
employability continues to be infrastructural challenges at
work place, poor implementation of GoI policies in addition
to misconceptions and biases towards the disabled
population.

to match job requirements, and make GROW
the partner of choice for youth and employers
thereby contributing to a Skilled India.
The GROW program is designed to be more impactful,
scalable and self-sustainable and aims to add value to the
overall eco system of skilling.
ASSESSMENT OF YOUTH’S COMPETENCIES
1
We are introducing pre & post assessment
for applicants to gauge their competencies
before enrolling them into the program and
measuring the skill shift made after the
training. All youth joining the program will be
trained with the aim of bringing at least one
level shift in their competencies.
KEY FEATURES
6
We have strengthened our employer connect
process to serve our employers well. Feedback
systems from the employer have been developed
for tracking performance post placement and also
developed the process to create disability
awareness across organization, job role identifica-
tion and accessibility matters. The IT platform also
provides access to employers to manage all their
requirements effectively.
8
In addition to this a mobile application with
multiple features for all aspirants/alumni is
part of the IT system. Through this applica-
tion during training period the aspirants can
give impartial feedback on program and
training. Post placement they can update
their working status, refer other aspirants
and employers link, update their CVs and
receive other updates.
Note: IT platform and Mobile App will go live in the month of Nov 2016
7
A process for better post-placement and
hand-holding support has been designed which
focusses especially on the first three months where
the attrition level is highest as per our research done.
