Viacom's pitch meeting discussed strategies for adapting to new technologies in the wake of their lawsuit against YouTube. The group proposed integrating Viacom content into Sony's interactive TVs, using prominent ads on Bing to promote official Viacom websites and eliminate unauthorized sites, and continuing Microsoft's existing partnership by providing user demographic data while complying with DMCA takedowns. However, Viacom remains hesitant to commit significant resources to new technologies and wants to retain their current profitable business model by adapting later once technologies are established.
