This document outlines the plans for a music video for the song "Love and War" by Rita Ora. It discusses using various settings and lighting contrasts to keep the audience interested. The artist will have a bold, hipster look while the rapper's costume will be more casual. A range of camera shots and positions from long to close up will be used. Editing techniques like lip syncing, cutting on the beat, and transitions will incorporate the music. 2. Mise-en-scene
• Our video will be made up of several settings to keep people
interested, one of our ideas is to have a shot of moving traffic which we
think will look good because of the lights against the darkness.
• The artist will wear very bold make-up and have a hipster hairstyle such as
Tat above.
• As this song incorporates rap we think that the costumes will be casual for
the rapper and the artist will have a stylish, hipster look.
• Lighting will have a contrast of dark and light settings so this will highlight
the change of shots and will keep the audience interested.

3. Star Persona
• We have chosen to portray the artist as a
young, attractive, care-free woman.

4. Camerawork
• We would like to use a range of shots from extreme long shots to close
ups.
• When we have someone performing we will try and use 3 different
camera positions-
• Left mid shot
• Middle long shot

5. Editing

6. Digipak and magazine advert
• On the digipak and advert we will have a
picture of the artist with a background of one
of the scenes we will be filming at.
• The writing will be block text and all the
features of each media will be included.
