Green Drinking is a startup founded by Jader Beltre, Cristopher Thomson, and Edgar Delgado to address the problem of easily and conveniently sterilizing reusable water bottles. Their solution is an electronic device called Green Drinking that uses UV light to sterilize bottles in less than 30 seconds. Green Drinking will have three models for institutional, industrial, and home use. They are seeking $100,000 to finalize production of the three models, obtain patents, build a website, and launch the product. The founders believe Green Drinking can help reduce waste from disposable cups and bottles which contributes to global warming.

2. The Problem
The beauty of the reusable
water bottle is that it's just that —
reusable. You can repeatedly head to
the water cooler or faucet to fill it up,
but when your bottle continually
stays wet, it doesn't have the chance
to get a proper cleaning. Since
bacteria love a moist, dark
environment, it's good to get in the
habit of sterilize your bottle every
night — or at least every few days. In the last decade, the use of
reusable bottles have increased
considerably. But cleaning and
sterilizing the bottles to keep it in
healthy conditions Till now, have
not been easy.

8. Global Warming is one of the major concern for governments

Hamburg has decreed plastic 0 policy which banned business and
industries from the use plastic.
Green Drinking aggregates value and social responsibility for those business that are willing to
contribute to keep our city clean, to help to reduce the environmental contamination, and
accomplish the city goals.

implemented in many cities in The

City. The city has a project aimed to cut
NYC trash by 90% by 2030.
