IN INTERCULTURAL

4° meeting
ERASMUS+

■ The Greek team consists of the
students:
■ Anthi Andrianopoulou,Sofia
Lykou,Alda Sulaj,Nikos Zafeiropoulos
and Aggeliki Ambelogianni.
■ And the teachers:
■ Stratos Kontelis,Theodora
Voukelatou, Basilis Giannoulis and
Maria Birba.
DAY 1
In the morning,we
went to the theatre
of the school
where we all
showed our
countries’ video
and music
presentations.
Then,in the noon,we were guided to
one of the biggest and most
impressive theatres in Europe
‘Teatro Massimo’.In this
theatre,some of the most well-
known artists have
performed.Also,the hosting school
has organized a few concerts there!
In our free time we got to know
the members of the other
groups!
After that,we went to another
department of the school,where
we watched the choir’s and the
orchestra’s rehearsal.
Day 2
In the morning,we
visited the
Superintedency of the
Italian Sea,whose task is
to introduce the the
culture of the sea in
Sicily through
reachearch,conservation,
supervision etc.
After that,we went to San
Francesco di Assisi’s church.
In our free time,we had the chance to
try a typical Sicilian food called
‘arancina’ and also spend some really
good time with our hosters.
In the afternoon,we went to ‘Teatro
Ditirammu’,which not only does operate as a
theatre but also as a small museum.
The actors and actresses were telling us old Sicilian
stories using dance and singing.Some of us,had also
the chance to dance with them,while all of us were
singing too.
Day 3
That morning,we visited the
Arsenal of the Royal Navy and
had a workshop in
collaboration with the
Superintendency of the Italian
sea.
THEN WE
VISITED THE
DANCE
SCHOOL
WHERE WE
HAD A ‘DANCE
AND POEMS’
WORKSHOP.
Day 4
In the morning we visited the
Cathedral of Monreale ,also
known as ‘Duomo di
Monreale’
And of course, we couldn’t
have missed visiting the
monastery of ‘Duomo di
Monreale’.
Later that day, we were transferred to
Cefalu, one of the most attractive
places in the area.
Day 5
On the 5th day ,we had a visit
of the Cattedrale !
We also visited Quattro Canti
and Piazza Pretoria !
Last but not least, we visited Cappella
Palatina.
Grazie Palermo for filling us with such
amazing experiences ! Ti amo mucho !
