Bradley Fletcher completed a two-week work experience placement with the GB Rowing Team Science department. During this time, he shadowed the physiology team, assisted during daily monitoring sessions, observed the biomechanics team, witnessed inter-disciplinary work, and helped organize data for a large analysis project. Bradley was punctual, helpful, polite, hardworking, and quickly understood the basics of the rowing team's training model. The senior sport scientist recommends Bradley for further placements and would welcome him back to the GB Rowing Team.

Bradley Fletcher - Work Experience
Bradley Fletcher spent two weeks (22 June, 2015 to 3 July, 2015) on a work experience
placement within the GB Rowing Team (GBRT) Science department. During this time he was
engaged in the following activities:
 Shadowing the physiology team
 Assisting the science team during daily monitoring sessions
 Observing the biomechanics team at work
 Witnessing various inter-disciplinary work in the science office
 Working on the GBRT Data Management Project which involved organising data for
large analysis
Throughout this period Bradley was punctual, helpful, polite and hardworking. He required
little supervision and quickly understood the basics of the GBRT training model. Bradley
also asked good and insightful questions around the rowers’ training.
I would welcome Bradley back for a further placement and would recommend him to other
sporting programmes.
