Graduate unemployment is a serious problem in Bangladesh. The unemployment rate for graduates is around 47%. There are several causes of this issue, including a lack of job opportunities, poor quality education, outdated curricula, and a small job market. This leads to negative impacts such as increased poverty, decreased social mobility, and slowed economic growth. To address graduate unemployment, job opportunities must be increased, education quality improved, and public-private cooperation enhanced to develop a national human resources plan.

unemployment?
Graduate unemployment refers to the
situation where individuals who have
recently completed their studies at the
university level are unable to find gainful
employment. In other word, it is an
unemployment with an academic degree.

community in Bangladesh.
This problem does not belong to low academic qualification as the
university enrollment is increasing.
According to a report from Economic Intelligence Unit rate of graduate
unemployment is 47% (Asadullah,2014).
