This document outlines a 5-day outdoor excursion itinerary for students in Yangshuo, China. The itinerary includes various outdoor adventure activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, kayaking, caving, and team building games. Students will stay in Yangshuo for 4 nights with accommodations in a hotel and optional camping. They will participate in daily outdoor activities, learn about the local area's geology and minority groups, and work to build teamwork skills through collaborative games. On the last day, students will have time for shopping before departing Yangshuo for their return flight.

Itinerary Various Outdoor Activities & Eco-Camp Yangshuo Outdoor Excursion Itinerary ‘ At a Glance’ Students will be split into groups of 17 or smaller DAY 1 Arrive Guilin, Transport to Yangshuo Introductions and team building DAYS 2-4 ACTIVITY LIST - Rock Climbing - Tyrolean/Abseiling - Mountain Biking - Kayaking - Caving -Cooking School DAY 5 Student will be transported to Guilin Airport for departure ACCOMMODATION Yangshuo Hotel Optional 1 night camping Day 1 – Arrive Guilin Arrive in Guilin airport where your trip leader and group leaders will meet and greet with the students, followed by transport to Yangshuo and introduction overview. ROCKCLIMBING The introduction to rock climbing half-day session will be composed of instruction and provision of technical equipment, learning basic knots, safety procedures and technique and the opportunity to test themselves on climbing routes of appropriate difficulty COMMUNITY SERVICE Interacting with local students, teaching English and helping to restore classrooms. Students are around 8-10yrs old.. MOUNTAIN BIKING Once students are outfitted with well-maintained bikes and helmets, our guides will lead the students cycling through the countryside to a up close and personal view of rural China. KAYAKING Following an introduction in kayaking safety and technique students will embark of a voyage of discovery down the Li River, culminating in arrival at the historic village of Liu Gong. CAVING Caving will begin with a geology tutorial on cave formations, creation and ethics. Of course it will also climax with a visit to the infamous mud baths for a once in a lifetime filth experience. TEAMBUILDING GAMES A mix of high paced and thoughtful games to ensure that students begin work together to achieve common goals Day 5 – Trinket shopping day – Depart Guilin On the last day depending on flights the students will be able to purchase some of the lovely local trinkets.

3. 2. Focus on this trip – Yangshuo - Arrive in Guilin airport, - Meet trip leader and group leaders, transport to Yangshuo - Rest, introduction overview. Day 1 Overnight in Yangshuo China's most "Chinese" scenery Educational – Geology Yangshuo is located 70km away from Guilin in the northeast part of Guangxi province. It is featured with the typical karst terrain. It is home to Zhuang, Yao, Miao and eight other minority groups what makes a stay very special. Until the late 1980’s it was nothing more than a marketplace when it became popular to visitors. It is a good base to explore the surrounding peaks and river, as well as a few caves and outlying villages.

5. 3. Focus on this trip – Yangshuo TYROLEAN/ABSEILING Students will test the mental mettle against a combination 25 meter Tyrolean (open air) traverse and 25 meter abseil. ORIENTEERING Provided with a map and compass, and some training, students will race to find control points. This is a fantastic and fun practical application of map reading and geography skills learnt in the class room.
