The present study entitled ‘Tracer Study on Food Production Graduates’ investigates and compares the views of PSTHM’s graduates on food production. Six batches of trainees followed this training from 2013-2015, 120 trainees graduated. In total 23 trainees were female and 97 male. From the group 82 trainees were from marginalized groups. All the training packages were conducted in PSTHM where the main target groups were out-of-school youths, Women, Dalit, Adivasi janjatis, Disadvantaged and marginalized people from rural areas of Nepal.
Does early grading affect educational choices? To answer this question, I exploit a curriculum reform which postponed grade assignment in Swedish compulsory schools. The staggered implementation of the reform allows me to identify short- and long-term effects of early grading, for students with different academic ability and socioeconomic status (SES). When graded early on, high-ability students (especially if high-SES) exhibit higher grades in compulsory school, and are more likely to choose academic courses. Low-ability students react in the opposite way, with particularly negative reactions among low-SES students. High school attainment increases for high-ability low-SES students; college attainment decreases for low-ability low-SES students. None of these effects carry over to the labor market: early grading allows students to better sort into education early on. I show that the short-term effects are consistent with predictions from a learning model in which children are uncertain
about academic ability, have different priors depending on SES, and use grading information to re-optimize educational choices. I find no evidence of demotivating effects for low-ability students, an alternative mechanism through which grades might affect education choices, and the main motivation behind the grading reform.
The document describes a thesis presented by four students to fulfill the requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Saint Paul University Philippines. HCC Northeast Status Report: 01132014.ne4112.community report bookletsb_finalHouston Community College
This document provides a status report for Houston Community College Northeast (HCC Northeast). It discusses the college's history and growth over the past 20 years since being established as one of six regional colleges under the Houston Community College System. Key facts and accomplishments are highlighted for each year from 1990 to 2006, showing steady increases in enrollment, campus locations, academic and career programs, and community partnerships. HCC Northeast has experienced significant growth and now serves over 13,000 students annually through its focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields as well as other in-demand industries.
The 2015 Quality of Life survey found that while students were generally satisfied with academics at Columbia, satisfaction was lowest for academic advising and mandatory classes. Graduate students and those from lower-income backgrounds reported less satisfaction than average, particularly with social life and perceived academic struggles. Students with physical disabilities faced accessibility issues on campus. Transgender students remained significantly less satisfied than peers, indicating more action is needed. The report makes recommendations to improve housing accessibility, increase scholarship opportunities, and better support underserved student groups.

This document is a thesis submitted by David Lawrence to the University of Oxford examining the effect of attending different colleges at Oxford University on student examination results. It aims to account for selection bias in estimating differences in college effectiveness by employing two methods: 1) controlling for observable student characteristics using regression analysis and 2) leveraging random assignment of "open applicants" to estimate effects of both observable and unobservable characteristics. The results suggest colleges have a statistically and practically significant impact on student exam scores even after controlling for observables, though estimates using the second method are imprecise. College endowment and peer effects are also found to relate to differences in college effectiveness.

Black men’s dismal college enrollments, disengagement and
underachievement, and low rates of baccalaureate degree
completion are among the most pressing and complex issues in
American higher education. Perhaps more troubling than the
problems themselves is the way they are continually mishandled
by educators, policymakers, and concerned others.
1) Over 1,500 first-year students completed a career assessment called the SuperStrong which provides career exploration and matches interests to potential careers and majors. Student feedback was positive, with many saying it provided career options or confirmed their current path.
2) Career counseling staff are looking at ways to improve the assessment process based on student feedback, such as providing more information connecting interests to university majors.
3) Preliminary analysis found students whose major aligned with career interests from the assessment tended to have a higher GPA, suggesting the value of the assessment in career and major selection.

Honours Thesis_Human Rights and Immigration PolicyJessica Tester
This document is an honors thesis submitted by Jessica Tester that examines the conditions in Australian immigration detention centers and the processing of asylum claims. The thesis conducts a comparative analysis between the objectives stated in the Department of Immigration's annual report and the experiences of asylum seekers as described in reports by the Ombudsman. The analysis focuses on length of detention, case progression, access to services, mental health, and timely resettlement or removal. The thesis finds that the Department has not achieved its objectives based on the negative asylum seeker experiences described in the Ombudsman's reports. However, the desktop nature of the honors research presents limitations that could be addressed in a larger study collecting first-hand data.

GRADUATE CAREER OUTCOME REPORT
INTRODUCTION
The Office of Career Services at Youngstown State University is pleased to share the results of
the Class of 2013-2014 Graduate Career Outcome Report. A culmination of a year-long data
collection and analysis process, this report provides comprehensive information regarding the
employment and continuing education decisions made by Youngstown State University students
who completed their degrees during the 2013-2014 academic year. The University community
will learn from the information presented in this report where YSU graduates are working, in
what capacity, and starting salary information by college and major.
METHODOLOGY
The information presented in this report was obtained through a survey distributed to 1,771
graduates who received degrees in December 2013, May 2014. A copy of the survey can be
found on pages 70-71.
Efforts to contact graduates to complete the survey included direct mail, a telephone campaign,
and speaking with students at Grad Central. Graduates were also given the opportunity to
complete the questionnaire electronically. The following table outlines the timing of these
contact methods (methods used subsequent to the mailed questionnaire were limited to only
those graduates who had yet to respond to previous efforts):
