Yew Tee Primary School was established in 2000 and has a student population of 2,200 with 108 teachers. Beginning in 2010, the school will operate as a partial single session school with Primary 1 and 2 students in the afternoon and Primary 3 to 6 in the morning. Two students expressed their love for the school, saying it is the best in the world as they don't use books or have exams, and they have made lifelong friends and memories there.
