Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plays a critical role in
strengthening accountability and increasing transparency in
areas of public spending and service delivery.
In this context, sharing global and local M&E knowledge and
experiences are essential to strength local M&E capacity,
foster accountability for results, promote evidence-based
decision making, and learn from results.
These goals are central to the CLEAR Initiative’s mission and
the inspiration for gLOCAL Evaluation Week.

organizations, associations, firms, and
other entities that produce, use, or
promote evaluations to strengthen
development programs are invited to
submit a proposal to host one or more
events.
What is Expected
Organize one or more events between June 3
and 7, 2019
Key Tasks
• Submit an event proposal by May 10
• Upon acceptance of your proposal,
promote gLOCAL Evaluation Week
and your event(s)
• Host event(s)
• Submit event(s) summary and photos
Cost
Your organization will bear all direct costs
associated with your event(s).
