Globe Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is enriched with the facilities that manufacture oral solid, oral liquid,
parenteral injection and infusion, soft capsule, topical cream, ointment and ophthalmic eye drops.
Globe’s manufacturing plant is located at BSCIC industrial estate under BegumgonjUpazilla of
Noakhali District, South east part of Bangladesh, which has been built with the requirements to
meet the international norms of WHO-GMP and other drug regulatory bodies in the world.

software the company uses and hardware they use in different department. Thesoftware they use

Globe Pharmaceutical can use BS1 Accounting (Bonus) BS1 Accounting.
Free accounting software that allows businesses to manage finances for free, their
accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, inventory and sales analysis.
BS1 Accounting supports multiple currencies for import and export purposes.
So, overall BS1 Accounting (Bonus) is better than Tally9.
Custom software
For pharmaceutical section Globe Pharmaceutical has built custom software to
Order management
Collection system
Package material inventory
Central storage and raw material inventory.
Globe Pharmaceutical named the total custom software as Financial Management
Inventory.They made all custom software by tally9.
Alternative
But Globe Pharmaceutical could also use Oracle Software. Oracle is better than tally9. Cause
Oracle has many advantages and features that makes it popular and thereby makes it as the
world’s largest enterprise software company.
You don't need to synchronize data from different
locations on a daily basis. Up-dates are online in our
software.
You can schedule automation back-up every day. You don't
need any separate human intervention.

7. Purchasing Software (Network Version)
Anti-virus:Globe Pharmaceuticalused to use Symantec Antivirus. But now Globe
Pharmaceutical is using Norton Antivirus. Norton Antivirus developed and distributed
by Symantec Corporation.
Globe Pharmaceutical is using a network version Norton Antivirus installing one copy on the
company’s server and sharing it through a LAN with other department.
As Norton is improved they will find it more useful then Symantec.
The NortonProtection System uses multiple layers of security that work together to
proactively block attacks and remove threats.
All downloads; files and applications are checked before you can use them on your
computer.
Security holes in operating system and browser are guarded so no infections can get to
you that way.
Emails and Instant Messages are always scanned to detect potential threats.
Anti-bot protection so that hackers can't take control of your PC
Norton Antivirus 2014 is extremely light on system resources, using around 8 MB of
working memory.

Keyboard, Mouse and 12 inch LED monitor so, the CPU used in the inventory are good enough
to cope for the time being but if the product or inventory size increases then the PC’s need to be
changed to more faster processor

For The Middle Level Employee: Employee who work in accounts, HR and different department

Sockets Mainboard, RAM 3GB DDR3, HDD 500GB with Keyboard, Mouse and 14 inch LED
monitor.
But the IT department uses an Intel 4770K Core i7 4th Gen. 3.5 GHz, Chipset - Gigabyte Z87
G1-Sniper-M5 LGA1150 4TH Gen. Mainboard, RAM 8 GB DDR3, HDD 2 TB with Keyboard,
Mouse and 21.5 inch LED monitor which is quiet fast enough to go for 5 to 8 years.

enables super-fast processing for compute-intensive tasks. It hasFlexible and scalable
networking, balanced performance, Powerful systems management, Exceptional operational

Backup Server: Globe Pharmaceutical uses Backup Server for their software and hardware
system that copies or shadows the contents of a server, providing redundancy. They use Dell

Oracle's Servers:Globe Pharmaceutical uses Oracle SuperCluster M6-32 database management
server. Globe Company uses it for calculation and saving their data.OracleSuperCluster
