6. In Global Personal Guard(GPG), there are 3 base covers which are mandatory and 12 Add on
covers
Base Covers are:
•Death: In case of death due to some accident, the sum insured specified will be paid along
with the specified amount for funeral and transportation of the mortal. Specified amount will be
given if the insured goes missing for 12 months or more
•Permanent Total Disability: If the insured suffers from a permanent total disability within 12
months of the accident, the person will be paid the amount specified in the policy. He will also
be paid a lifestyle modification benefit
•Permanent Partial Disability: If the insured suffers from a permanent partial disability like no
hearing capability, breaking of arm and shoulder joint etc. within 12 months of the accident, the
person will be paid the amount specified in the policy

•Accidental Hospitalization Expenses: If the insured is hospitalized for more than 24 hours on
the advise of a doctor or a medical practitioner because of any injury during the policy period,
then in-patient charges such as room rent, nursing and consultation fees, day care procedures
etc. are paid for
•Coma Due To Accidental Bodily Injury: If the insured goes in coma due to an accident within
a month, then lump sum benefits are paid
•Hospital Cash Benefit: If the insured is in hospital, per day benefit amount will be paid for
maximum 60 days

11. • Loan Protector Cover: Balance loan amount of the insured would be paid if the claim
related to death or permanent total disability is accepted
• Loss of Income Due to Disability From Accident: If the insured injures himself and is
unable to perform his duties, weekly payment specified in the policy will be made
• Road Ambulance Cover: If the insured is transferred from the accident site to the hospital
via an ambulance, its cost will be reimbursed
