84 airports in 45 countries participated in a global operation from November 26-27, 2014 that resulted in 117 arrests and identification of 281 suspicious transactions. The operation targeted credit card fraud at airports and involved cooperation between 60 airlines to help reduce the estimated $1 billion in annual losses to the industry from this type of fraud.
