● A component of the KABATAAN: 2000 UNDER
Executive Order 139, s. of 1993, which aims to provide
opportunities and engage program beneficiaries to
serve the general public in govt agencies/entities
projects and programs at the national/local level.
OBJECTIVES
To engage beneficiaries
into public service
To provide young workers,
particularly the poor/indigent, the
opportunity to demonstrate their
talents and skills in the field of
public service
To fast track the implementation and
monitoring of DOLE programs and projects
related to employment facilitation and
social protection
QUALIFICATIONS
At least high school graduate or voc-tech
graduate;
Between 18-30 years old; and
Without working experience except those
identified in section 2

DUTIES AND FUNCTION OF GIP
 Assist the DOLE and its partner agencies
personnel/staff.,
 Assist LGUpersonnel/staff.,
 Assistinprofilingchildlaborers,PWDandseniorcitizen
inconcernedbarangays;
 Assist in the encoding of registrants in Peso
EmploymentInformationSystem(PEIS);and
 Performdutiesthatarenothighly-technicalinnature.
OTHER TASKS
● Assist the PESO Managers in the submission of monthly SPRS;
● Encode registrants in the PESO Employment Information System (PEIS);
● Gather number of Job Opportunities and Job Placement in the assigned
LGUs;
● Assist Jobseekers in using the PhilJobNet website;
● Profile and encode child laborers, GIP and TUPAD beneficiaries; and
● Support the DOLE Palawan in implementing the program and services under
Employment Facilitation.

DURATION

Php 355 is the minimum
wage rate in MIMAROPA
as per RTWPB

TERMINATION/VOLUNTARY TERMINATION
In case the GIP partner/employer was terminated
or the intern voluntarily terminated the internship
agreement prior to the expiration of the
agreement, the DOLE RO may provide another
intern as a substitute who shall cover only the
unexpired term of the agreement; and issue a
certificate of completion to the intern upon
fulfilment of the agreement.

PREPARATION OF PAYMENT OF SALARY
DTRs and accomplishments of GIPS must be signed by their
immediate supervisor.
Hardcopy of DTR and AR (accomplishment report) submitted to
the GIP focal (DOLE) for evaluation & preparation of payroll.
Submission of DTRs and accomplishment report every quincenas
(15ᵗʰ and 30ᵗʰ of the month) to DOLE for consolidation and
stipend purposes.
DOLE RO shall prepare DV and payment of salary thru money
remittance centers (Palawan Pawnshop).
GIP beneficiaries must present their valid GIP ID when claiming
salary
